Reliance Industries Limited on Tuesday extended Coal Bed Methane (CBM) production contract with South West Pinnacle Exploration (SWPE) worth Rs 166.82 crore in Madhya Pradesh.
The awarded work is expected to start fetching revenue from second quarter of FY 2026-27 as required machines and equipment with trained manpower and other resources are already in place and no additional assets are needed to be deployed to execute this contract, SWPE said in a regulatory filing.
SWPE is one of the fastest growing private exploration services company in India, in the field of Mineral & Unconventional Energy resources.
Earlier on Monday, the company received a Letter of Award (LOA) from Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Ltd. (CMPDI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Coal India Ltd for imparting detailed exploration services of Coal in the state of Jharkhand.
The pact, valued at Rs 5.89 crore, would help in strengthening the order book of SWPE and is expected to fetch the revenue in current fiscal year itself as the work is to be completed within a period of 180 days.
