近來毒駕釀成死傷案件頻傳，法務部昨宣布啟動修法作業，除推動毒品戒癮治療、從源頭降低毒駕風險外，也將提高單純毒駕、毒駕致死及致重傷害等犯罪刑度，檢討假釋門檻，並研議採「義務沒收」制度，未來毒駕所使用車輛不論是否屬於行為人所有，均可能一律沒收；同時，高檢署統合六大緝毒系統，即日起啟動全國毒駕掃蕩專案。

高檢署啟動全國掃蕩
法務部並指出，檢察官對毒駕案件均採從速、從重原則偵辦，符合羈押條件者將依法向法院聲請羈押；若法院量刑與罪責不相當，也將依法提起上訴。至於易科罰金聲請，也會從嚴審查，避免毒駕犯行遭輕縱。
高檢署則表示，專案將結合各地檢署、警察、調查、海巡、憲兵及關務等單位，全面強化毒駕查緝作為，並要求各地檢署從嚴追訴毒價案件，如果判決量刑過輕或不當，應依法提起上訴；對毒駕累犯或肇事致人傷亡的案件，檢察官應在符合羈押要件下，積極聲請羈押並具體求刑，確定判決後，亦應審慎審酌是否要准予易科罰金。
此外，高檢署也要求強化與警政單位合作，提升毒駕臨檢與攔查密度，加強查緝依托咪酯等新興毒品，深化溯源偵辦，針對毒駕肇事致死傷案件，將優先送交相關單位鑑定，作為偵查及聲押重要依據。
