Adaptive Golfer Chris Perry Campaigns for Golf's Inclusion in 2032 Paralympics After Defying Quadriplegia Diagnosis
Chris Perry, a 40-year-old Sunshine Coast father, defied a quadriplegia diagnosis after a 2024 bicycle accident. Inspired by a social media post about golf's potential inclusion in the 2032 Paralympics, Perry took up adaptive golf, winning two championships. He now campaigns for the sport's Paralympic inclusion, supported by his wife and caddie, Ambre, and coach Wade Hooper, who believes Perry has a strong chance of qualifying if golf is selected.
