YouTube TV has launched a custom multiview feature, allowing subscribers to create personalized screen layouts across all channels, not just sports. The "multiview builder" enables mixing content from different packages, including NFL Sunday Ticket, but is limited to live programming and may not be supported on all devices.
YouTube CEO Neal Mohan announced YouTube TV is getting fully customizable multiview, giving users full control to mix and match live streams. Users can pin up to four streams in their multiview window. The feature, which initially launched in 2023 for preselected sports content like March Madness before expanding to news and weather, will be available to both YouTube TV subscribers and the more than 10 genre-specific plans.
