100 Italian Chefs Attempt World's Longest Tiramisu in London
One hundred Italian chefs gathered at Chelsea Town Hall this weekend to attempt the Guinness World Record for the longest tiramisu, surpassing the previous record of 273.5 metres set by Milanese Galbani. The record-breaking dessert used 50,000 ladyfinger biscuits and more than 3,000 eggs, assembled live on site according to Guinness rules. Organizer Mirko Ricci, who previously held the record in 2017 before losing it to another Italian team in 2019, said the attempt was a thank you to the United Kingdom and in honour of the King and Royal Family.
