Iran Rejects Any Foreign Presence in Strait of Hormuz, Including European Coalition Plans
Iran's Ambassador to Italy Mohammad Reza Sabouri has rejected any foreign presence in the Strait of Hormuz, including plans by the UK, France, and a European coalition. In a TASS interview, the diplomat stated Tehran considers such plans unacceptable and urged Europe to respect Iran's sovereignty and address the root causes of the current situation, which he said stem from actions by the United States and Israel.
