Woman Jailed for Life for Murdering Film Director Sister in London
Nancy Pexton has been jailed for life with a minimum term of 22 years for murdering her sister, film director Jennifer Abbott (also known as Sarah Steinberg), 69, at her flat in Camden, north London. Abbott was found dead on 13 June 2025 with gaffer tape covering her mouth, three days after being stabbed. Pexton was arrested five days later and a diamond-encrusted gold Rolex watch was found in her bag. Messages revealed Pexton's jealousy toward her more successful sibling.
