“We never have such a feeling, just as the Chinese never had it when the USSR made a huge contribution to the industrialization of this country and to ensuring many of the fundamental functions of the Chinese state. We enrich each other. This is an important difference from younger brothers,” he answered the question of who is older and younger in the “kinship” of Russia and China.

According to the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, China's nuclear industry was created with a decisive contribution from the Russian side, while in applied and theoretical terms Beijing really occupies a leading position in the world.

“We are the two largest countries in the world that live next door,” the minister concluded.
