European national security advisors and American envoys are in Kiev to discuss settling the Russian-Ukrainian conflict

Reuters quoted a source as saying that the national security advisers of Britain, France and Germany were in Kiev on Sunday, without specifying the meetings in which they would participate.

US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner arrived in Kiev today, Sunday, to meet with outgoing Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, following intense talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.

Putin praised the efforts of US President Donald Trump, saying: "I understand that he is entering into a difficult situation in general, yet he does not stop his attempts at a settlement and making his contribution to resolving the Russian-Ukrainian conflict." He expressed Moscow's satisfaction with working with Witkov and Kushner, stressing that "the level of trust during this work on our part is very high," stressing that "the quality of mediation and trust in its practitioners" is crucial.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov considered that the fact that Russian President Vladimir Putin met with American envoys Steve Witkov and Jared Kushner meant that there was an atmosphere of trust.
