The SCAN contemporary art fair will be held in Krasnoyarsk from October 1 to October 4

The SCAN contemporary art fair will be held in Krasnoyarsk at a new venue - the International Exhibition and Business Center "Siberia" (IEC "Siberia") from October 1 to 4. The press service of the event reported this to Lenta.ru.

The largest art event in the territory from the Urals to the Pacific Ocean will host 40 independent artists and art groups from 17 cities with personal stands. Also announced are six galleries from Siberia, the Urals and the Far East, four product design brands, as well as five galleries from Moscow and St. Petersburg.

“We are growing, expanding the format and number of participants, but maintaining the principle that was laid down in the project from the very beginning: the focus of our attention remains on artists and representatives of the art community of Siberia, the Urals and the Far East,” notes Liliana Marre, director of the SCAN center for the development of contemporary art.

Six galleries from Siberia and the Far East will take part in the “Galleries” section: “Studio 84” (Novosibirsk), BIOM (Khabarovsk), “Arka” gallery (Vladivostok), “Dias” gallery (Irkutsk) and “In the Center of the World” gallery (Krasnoyarsk), Miras (Ufa). In a separate section, galleries in Moscow and St. Petersburg will present projects by artists from Siberia, the Urals and the Far East: Anna Nova Gallery will present works by Dima Filippov, PENNLAB Gallery - Fedor Telkov, szena gallery - Nastya Rybakova. Pop/off/art and ARTZIP galleries will also take part in the section.

An important part of SCAN will be the presentation of the online marketplace for local artists - a new digital platform that will continue the fair's work with the regional art scene after the event.
