11 people were killed in Israeli raids on southern Lebanon, including two children and two children

(CNN) - At least 11 people were killed in Israeli raids on southern Lebanon overnight, including two children, according to the National News Agency in Lebanon.

The agency reported that the Israeli army targeted a three-story building in the town of Kafr Rumman, killing 9 people and wounding 5 others. She added that a separate raid targeted a vehicle in the same area, killing two paramedics.

The town is located outside the Israeli-occupied zone in southern Lebanon.

CNN has contacted the Israeli army for comment.

Despite the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon and ongoing diplomatic talks, Israel also carried out raids in several other areas in southern Lebanon, according to the National News Agency, including Arabsalim and Nabatieh al-Fawqa.

On Sunday, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemned the continued Israeli raids, describing them as "a continuing pattern of attacks that goes beyond the alleged military targets to target purely civilian administrations and health centers, which reflects a clear intention to attack the continuity of the work of Lebanese institutions and disrupt people's daily interests."

Aoun called on the United States and the international community to hold Israel accountable.

Over the weekend, the Israeli army issued two warnings to evacuate areas in southern Lebanon, a rare occurrence since the signing of a ceasefire agreement in late June under the auspices of the administration of US President Donald Trump.

On Sunday, the Israeli army issued a warning to evacuate the town of Arab Salim, after it said that a drone loaded with explosives was launched by the Hezbollah group towards Israeli forces in southern Lebanon.

In the early hours of Monday morning, the Israeli army issued another warning to evacuate the town of Deir Al-Zahrani, following what it said was the launch of another drone.
