A regional event “With Russia in the Heart” will be held in the Moscow region on June 12

MOSCOW, June 11 - RIA Novosti. A regional event “With Russia in the Heart” will be held in more than 90 parks in the Moscow region on June 12, reports the press service of the region’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

In honor of Russia Day, concerts, creative master classes on folk crafts, and thematic exhibitions have been prepared for visitors. Guests will also enjoy interactive maps of the country, processions with the state flag and programs introducing the culture and traditions of the peoples of the Russian state.

Thus, in Stupino Park named after Ostrovsky, guests will be invited to set a new Russian record for weaving camouflage nets. Volunteers and representatives of municipalities from across the region will participate in the event. Thematic master classes and a large concert of the folk instrument orchestra “Melodies of Russia” of the Stupino Philharmonic will also be held here.

In the Zaraisky central park there will be a ceremonial procession with the Russian flag along the main alley. Creative groups in national costumes will take part in it. They will also organize an interactive program “My Russia” and a festive concert.

In the Sestroretsky Park in Klin, guests will enjoy screenings of documentaries about Russia, thematic flash mobs and a concert by the National Academic Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments named after Osipov.

In the Sverdlovsk park of the Losino-Petrovsky urban district you will be able to take part in the creation of a large interactive composition “Map of Russia”. Guests will also enjoy a procession with the Russian flag and a concert with the participation of professional artists.
