Gianni Infantino announced his intention to be re-elected as FIFA President

The President of the International Football Federation (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, wanted to continue running the organization. His words are quoted by Sky Sports.

“Of course, I will be a candidate in the elections on March 18 next year. My slogan is very simple, but at the same time very clear: “Football belongs to everyone, everywhere in the world.” This is what we want. This is what I want. This is what we at FIFA want to achieve,” Infantino said.

The head of FIFA also outlined his goals in this post. “At FIFA we want to ensure that everyone in every corner of the world has opportunities and resources. We want to give everyone the opportunity to dream, to participate, to play, to improve, to bridge the gap between the big players and the rest,” Infantino said.
