A cache of artifacts from the 1980s was found at a factory in Bryansk

An unexpected “hello from the past” was found at a plant producing spare parts for railway transport in Bryansk. The building is undergoing restoration, and while the plaster was being dismantled, a bundle of newspaper fell out of the wall and contained a plastic bag. KP.RU reports this. The cache contained a pennant of the Bryansk regional committee of the Komsomol and various badges. In particular, there were badges for shock workers and excellent students of socialist competitions. Also, unknown people from the past hid a five-kopeck coin and an Olympic bear icon in the wall. According to the director of the LDS plant, Sergei Gorelov, all these artifacts date back to the 1980s. The building then housed the Bryansk Machine-Building Plant, the Komsomol was active and there were socialist competitions. “Probably one of the plant activists made such a stash,” said the plant director and added that someone could have done this specifically for such an unexpected meeting with the new generation in the 21st century. Earlier, restorers in Nizhny Novgorod came across a secret message from the sixties about an “exploded world.” The note contains a memory of the Khatyn tragedy that occurred during the Great Patriotic War.
