为提升此次跨境班列运输效率，国铁南宁局南宁车务段组织调车组人员、货检人员实行双面检查作业，提升车辆检查效率，并对跨境班列实行“优先送车、优先装车、优先编组、优先开车”政策，提升班列开行效率。
凭祥铁路口岸作为西部陆海新通道的关键运输节点之一，在促进中越两国经贸往来中发挥着重要作用。截至目前，已有从重庆、成都、广州、怀化、济南、苏州等地的货物经凭祥铁路口岸出境，发往越南及其他东盟国家。
