The Leningrad region plans to sign more than 20 agreements at SPIEF-2026 for 300 billion rubles

St. PETERSBURG, June 3 - RIA Novosti. The Leningrad region plans to sign more than 20 agreements for a total investment of about 300 billion rubles at SPIEF-2026, the region’s governor, Alexander Drozdenko, said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

“We are preparing more than 20 agreements with a total investment pot of at least 300 billion rubles. The main areas are industry, logistics, tourism, and housing construction,” Drozdenko said.

The governor clarified that agreements in the industrial sector include a new complex of metal structures in Vsevolozhsk, import substitution in rope products in Tosno, and expansion of glass production capacity in Luga. Investments in smart distribution centers are also planned; one of these modern complexes will appear in Bugry; an agreement on this has already been signed on the sidelines of SPIEF.
