MOSCOW, September 6 - RIA Novosti. In 2027, Russians will expect indexation of several types of pensions, including insurance, social and military, Evgeny Masharov, a member of the RF OP Commission on Public Control and Work with Citizens' Appeals, told RIA Novosti.

The schedule for increasing pension payments depends on their type and category of recipients.

“So, from February 1, insurance pensions will be increased by the consumer price growth index over the past year, and from April 1 - based on the growth in budget revenues of the Pension and Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation,” Masharov said.

He added that the social pension will be indexed separately in April. Such a payment is due to disabled people and those who have lost their breadwinner, who have no work experience at all, as well as to those who do not have enough individual pension coefficients and length of service to assign an insurance pension.

In addition, an additional increase in insurance pensions for working pensioners will take place in August 2027. It will be made taking into account individual pension coefficients accumulated over the previous year.

According to Masharov, military pensions will be indexed in October 2027.

“The size of the payment is not directly tied to inflation, but to the growth in pay for military personnel and law enforcement officers,” noted a member of the RF OP.
