25-year-old flees from police, causes accident and is arrested

A 25-year-old resisted a traffic stop in Pilsting (Dingolfing-Landau district) and fled at times at well over 100 km/h. According to police, a breath alcohol test later revealed that the man had been drinking alcohol.

The 25-year-old was temporarily trapped and resisted during the rescue work. As a result, after he was freed, he had to be handcuffed before he could receive medical care, it was said. According to the information, he was taken to a hospital and then to a psychiatric hospital. The man is now being investigated for, among other things, a prohibited motor vehicle race, drunk driving, physical assault and resistance to law enforcement officers.
