作为中国助力落实联合国2030年可持续发展议程、推进全球发展倡议而设立的开放型国际科研机构,依托中国科学院建设的可持续发展大数据国际研究中心2026年迎来成立5周年,其以持续为全球可持续发展治理提供数据支撑与技术方案,而备受关注、广受好评。

本届论坛开幕式上,第77届联合国大会主席克勒希·乔鲍、毛里求斯共和国前总统阿米娜·古里布·法基姆、发展中国家科学院院长夸拉莎·阿卜杜勒·卡里姆、联合国原副秘书长易卜拉欣·蒂奥、世界工程组织联合会主席陈成川等分别发言,与会代表高度评价可持续发展大数据国际研究中心5年建设成效指出,该中心已形成建制化国际研究机构综合能力,多项工作融入国际可持续发展多边实践,中国也成为全球可持续发展转型的引领者。

第六届可持续发展大数据国际论坛主席、可持续发展大数据国际研究中心主任郭华东院士以“数字技术赋能全球可持续发展进程”为题作大会报告,系统介绍该中心在可持续发展目标数据产品体系、监测评估方法、智库平台、非洲与小岛屿国家能力建设等方面的体系化进展与成果。

郭华东表示,面向2030年议程收官阶段,由可持续发展大数据国际研究中心发起、获联合国教科文组织批准、在科学促进可持续发展国际十年框架下实施的数字可持续发展国际科学计划,提出推动地球大数据与人工智能融合、数字赋能、共创可持续未来,目前,该计划合作网络已覆盖35个国家59家机构。

论坛上正式发布的《地球大数据支撑可持续发展监测评估——方法、数据与产品》和《地球大数据支撑可持续发展实践——典型领域应用与区域案例》两部专著,通过构建地球大数据服务2030年议程的详实方法与应用体系,为各国运用地球大数据服务可持续发展目标提供可复用的实践范式。

在论坛“数字时代下塑造可持续发展的未来”的高级别专题讨论环节,中外专家围绕空间对地观测、大数据、人工智能等数字技术如何破解全球可持续发展现实难题展开交流,聚焦弥合全球数字鸿沟、发展中国家能力建设、科技赋能可持续发展目标冲刺、后2030年可持续发展治理等议题,交换观点、凝聚共识,为数字技术赋能全球可持续发展贡献多元视角与实践思路。

此次论坛会期3天,还包括“构建数字可持续发展全球伙伴关系”“大数据与人工智能赋能完善各国面向可持续发展目标的科技创新路线图”“面向水安全的地球观测、大数据与人工智能国际合作”“数字智能赋能可持续发展——青年行动”等4场特别分会,以及32场平行分会,围绕可持续发展目标技术创新、监测评估、全球协作、未来治理等方向展开多维度深度研讨。

据悉,本届论坛由中国科学院主办,可持续发展大数据国际研究中心、中国科学院空天信息创新研究院共同承办,并得到联合国经济和社会事务部、开发计划署、外层空间事务厅、粮食及农业组织、防治荒漠化公约秘书处、人类住区规划署等多家联合国机构,以及发展中国家科学院、世界工程组织联合会、科学促进可持续发展国际十年等国际组织与机制的支持。
