Zakharova accused Guterres of confusion in testimony about victims in Bucha

SYKTYVKAR, September 9 - RIA Novosti. UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres is confused in his testimony when it comes to certain victims of the staging in Bucha, Kyiv region in 2022, so he is trying to divert the conversation to a different plane, said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.

“From many years of correspondence with Guterres, it follows that he is openly trying to take the conversation to a different plane. Why? Because he himself understands that he is confused in his testimony. At first he stated that there was data about certain victims in the secretariat, but it could not be shared due to their (confidentiality - ed.)... Then, when we had literally pressed him to the wall, the secretary general changed the record and began to claim that he did not have the information that interests us,” said Zakharov during the briefing.

According to her, Moscow is interested in specific information about the victims in Bucha and such behavior is a shame for the UN Secretary General, who is not responsible for his words.
