Khakassia: 38 saker falcons released into the wild

In Khakassia, the first project to release saker falcons into the wild from the largest flora in the Russian reserve system has been completed. This was reported by the press service of the Nature and People Foundation.

After an adaptation period, 38 birds independently left the special enclosure and began to explore the territory of the Khakass Nature Reserve. The saker falcon is listed in the Red Book of Russia. Currently, there are no more than 1.2 thousand nesting pairs of these birds of prey in the country.
