Many double standards are puzzling. In particular, while using various fallacies to cover up their dereliction of duty, the person most responsible, Zoomlion Oil and Fats, disappeared from the political commentary, questioning, "Is Jiang Wanan the biggest goalkeeper of Zoomlion?"
He Menghua said that Article 3 of the "Food Safety and Hygiene Management Act" clearly states that what is managed is "products" and "their" raw materials; if they are not purchased, they may not be made into raw materials for food, just like "seawater that has not been introduced into salt fields for exposure before salt production is not within the jurisdiction of the Food Safety Law." Taiwan Sugar does not need to be responsible for reporting raw materials that have not been purchased or entered into the manufacturing process.

Questioning the court's ruling on the detention of senior executives of China United, Jiang Wanan and the Kuomintang concocted non-existent responsibilities in order to shift the focus of China United. She believes that many of Jiang Wanan’s double-standard actions are puzzling, such as criticizing poisonous oil but allowing food with higher BaP dosage to circulate on the market; while scolding the Nanqiao Cutting Office for post-purchase inspection, and at the same time he scolded Taiwan Sugar for pre-purchase inspection, but did not mention China United at all for selling oil that exceeded the standard.
