조국혁신당 사순문 전남 장흥군수 후보가 6·3 지방선거에서 당선됐다.

4일 중앙선거관리위원회에 따르면 사 후보는 4일 오전 2시20분 99.88% 개표율을 보인 현재 50.57%의 득표율을 기록하며 더불어민주당 김성 후보(49.42%)를 259표 차이로 따돌렸다.

사 당선인은 2022년 지방선거에서 무소속으로 출마해 낙선했으나 재수 끝에 현역 군수를 꺾고 당선됐다.

장흥 출신인 사 당선인은 전남도의원을 거쳐 조국혁신당 당 대표 특보를 맡고 있다.

사 당선인은 "군민을 섬기는 군수가 되어 더 큰 장흥, 더 행복한 장흥으로 반드시 보답하겠다"고 약속했다.
