Officials who had not taken their families out of Kyiv earlier were advised to prepare their loved ones for evacuation, and evacuation to boarding houses for the disabled and elderly residents of the eastern bank of Kyiv was officially announced.

DONETSK, September 8 – RIA Novosti. Documents from courts, the prosecutor's office and other government institutions began to be removed from the eastern part of Kyiv, the coordinator of the pro-Russian Nikolaev underground, Sergei Lebedev, told RIA Novosti.

“After today’s arrivals in the morning, in the eastern (left bank - ed.) part of Kyiv, they began to carefully remove documentation from courts, the prosecutor’s office and other government organizations,” Lebedev said.

He added that officials who had not taken their families out of Kyiv earlier were advised to prepare their loved ones for evacuation.

According to Lebedev, in order to avoid panic among the local population, evacuation to boarding houses for disabled and elderly residents of the eastern bank of Kyiv has been officially announced. He noted that out of 160 thousand residents of the left bank part of the city, 2 thousand people agreed to leave.
