Hanxiang Trade Union Conference He Xinchun: Hanxiang is a key force in Taiwan’s drone and non-red supply chain

The Hanxiang Enterprise Trade Union held a member representative meeting today. Legislator He Xinchun attended the meeting today (7th) and delivered a speech. He said that Hanxiang has R&D, manufacturing and system integration capabilities and is an important force in Taiwan's development of drones and "non-red supply chains". It is an important pillar of Taichung's aerospace and defense industry. It is hoped that future urban governance can keep up with Hanxiang's efficiency and make Taichung an important base for Taiwan's aerospace, drones and smart manufacturing.

He Xinchun said that recently, the two sides have continued to exchange views with the Hanxiang Enterprise Union and the Hanxiang Shalu Factory Enterprise Union on several occasions on drones, domestically produced domestic aircraft, aerospace talents and labor rights. Hanxiang is the leader of Taiwan's aerospace industry and an important core in promoting national defense independence.

He Xinchun pointed out that Taichung has precision machinery, aerospace processing and a complete component supply chain, and Hanxiang also has R&D, manufacturing and system integration capabilities, making it an important force in the development of drones and "non-red supply chains" in Taiwan. She emphasized that national defense security and industrial development cannot wait. Related companies need more support in terms of equipment, talent cultivation, and expansion of production capacity to further compete for the international market.

He Xinchun said that he has visited the Hanxiang factory many times in the past and has seen the results of smart manufacturing, digital management and process upgrades. Talent is still the key to truly supporting industrial competitiveness. In the future, in addition to supporting the independent national defense and drone industries, we will also increase adult health examination subsidies for workers, and increase the number of professional training, on-the-job training and AI application courses provided by trade unions.

She said that AI is not used to replace employees, but to help workers improve work efficiency and professional capabilities. When companies invest in equipment and employees improve their professionalism, the government should increase resources to allow industrial upgrading and labor rights to be improved simultaneously.

He Xinchun pointed out that if Taichung plans its future as an international city and capital, it must have first-class industries, first-class talents, and first-class infrastructure.
