They noted that the Finnish authorities present Russia as the main long-term threat to the country.

“The corresponding theses are actively used to justify the course towards forced militarization of the country,” the embassy told Izvestia.

The diplomatic mission added that one of the manifestations of this course is the lifting of the ban on the import of nuclear weapons into Finland. This also includes an increase in the military presence of NATO countries in the country and an increase in Finnish military spending.
