The 27-year-old Liao Yanjun participated in the Asian Games for the first time in Jakarta in 2018, but unfortunately she missed the finals. However, she ran 11.53 seconds in the 100-meter preliminaries of last year's National Games, setting a new personal best time. She successfully reached the standard and returned to the Asian Games eight years later. She said, "I didn't expect time to fly so fast.
