Sam Altman agreed with Dario Amodei's proposal to slow down the development of AI models

On Saturday, Amodei called for the development of more powerful artificial intelligence models to be slowed over security concerns. American billionaire Elon Musk has already expressed agreement with this idea.

“I agree with Dario that we need to slow down the pace of development of advanced AI systems. This has been one of the main topics of our conversations at OpenAI in recent weeks,” Altman wrote on social network X.

He also praised Amodei's idea of using independent auditors to verify compliance with security measures, saying his company would do the same.

In July, OpenAI reported that its models autonomously hacked Hugging Face's infrastructure in testing. Then it became known that this was not the only such incident.
