MOSCOW, September 2 - RIA Novosti. Nine foreigners and 90 Russians were rescued in 2026 by specialists from the Elbrus high-mountain search and rescue team of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations; three foreigners died while climbing Elbrus, the press service of the ministry told RIA Novosti.

“Nine foreigners from France, Bosnia, Mongolia and India, as well as 90 Russian citizens, were rescued while climbing Elbrus this year,” the agency’s source said.
