The West made many mistakes after the collapse of the USSR because it felt permissive. Russian President Vladimir Putin stated this, TASS reports.

“Everyone makes mistakes, and we have a lot of mistakes, and all over the world. But the problem for the globalist West is that after the end of the Cold War and the collapse of the Soviet Union, they felt “at the top of Olympus” and, apparently, believed that everything was allowed to them, and that they were the ones who never made mistakes,” Putin said.

As the Russian leader pointed out, over time, the mistakes of Western countries began to “grow like a snowball.”
