Su Qiaohui, the New Taipei City mayoral candidate of the Democratic Progressive Party, held an inauguration meeting of the campaign headquarters in Banqiao today (5th). Lai praised Su Qiaohui as a "Chong Chong 2.0" with gentle qualities and called on everyone to fully support her in becoming the first female mayor of New Taipei City to jointly create a new era and write history.
Lai Qingde pointed out that when New Taipei City is undergoing transformation and upgrading, everyone gathered today has a common goal, which is to use the greatest enthusiasm and courage to send the most diligent and hard-working Su Qiaohui to the New Taipei City Government, making her the first "female mayor" in history, and working together to create a new era and write history.
Lai Qingde said that New Taipei City has a population of more than 4 million, including agriculture, industry, commerce, and various industries. New Taipei City can be said to be a city full of vitality and unlimited development possibilities. As president, he hopes that New Taipei City must have a dominant identity in the future and cannot become a "satellite city" of other cities. Lai stressed that the next mayor of New Taipei City is very important. The mayor New Taipei City needs is not a person who just wants to find a job, nor is he a passerby who uses New Taipei City as a springboard, but someone who is willing to devote the best years of his life to New Taipei City with the greatest enthusiasm. This person is Su Qiaohui.
Lai Qingde also said that Su Qiaohui has been a legislator for 10 years and has been rated as an outstanding legislator by the Public Supervisory League. She wears cloth shoes and walks through the streets, alleys and markets. She takes the first step when local needs arise, and strives for funds to promote the extension of Wanda Line and Xinzhuang Line. Su Qiaohui combined her master's degree and lawyer's major to plan three major directions for New Taipei. First, "people-oriented" allows the 29 administrative districts to develop according to their characteristics, shining like pearls and stars, leading New Taipei to become the "locomotive" of Taiwan's development; second, use a warm heart to take care of the old, young, women and children in urban and rural areas like New Taipei's daughter; third, organize an innovation team to use artificial intelligence and green energy technology to assist New Taipei's small, medium and micro enterprises to upgrade and transform.
Lai Ching-te said that former Executive President Su Zhenchang worked hard and "rushed" to lead New Taipei to deliver good results, while Su Qiaohui is "rush to rush version 2.0". She sweats more in cloth shoes than others, and everything big and small in New Taipei is her business. "Administrative experience is not inferior to Su Zhenchang, but Su Qiaohui adds a layer of gentleness." In the future, water control and water conservancy will be comprehensively improved, and transportation construction such as interchanges, MRT and light rail will be launched in sequence.
Lai Qingde emphasized that Su Qiaohui's campaign headquarters is the first campaign headquarters in Taiwan for this year's election.
