Alien Isolation fans have waited over a decade for a sequel, and now, a cinematic trailer for Alien Isolation 2 has debuted at Summer Game Fest. The game, developed by Creative Assembly, is set on a "remote, storm-ravaged colony-world" where players navigate both the planet’s surface and the claustrophobic Kurosaki Station outpost. Unlike the first game’s spaceship setting, this sequel promises more expansive environments for the Xenomorph to stalk its prey.

The trailer showcased pre-alpha footage, indicating the game might still be some time away. No release window has been announced, but Alien Isolation 2 is confirmed for Steam, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and notably, the Nintendo Switch 2.
