Military expert Matviychuk explained the purpose of attacks on defense enterprises of Ukraine

The destruction of assembly plants and energy systems in Ukraine allows us to reduce attacks on Russian territory, as well as reduce the losses of our troops, said military expert, retired colonel Anatoly Matviychuk. He gave a comment to Lenta.ru.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian Armed Forces conducted a military operation during which the Fire Point enterprise, which produces the warhead and parts for the Flamingo long-range cruise missiles, was hit in Kyiv.

“This is an assembly plant, vehicle kits are brought there, they assemble it at the enterprise there. We have now destroyed it. There are no vehicle kits, there is no enterprise that carried out the assembly. That is, the strikes on Russia will be significantly lower than when they carried out before. Next, we struck at technologies located in Kyiv. We destroyed them, now we are complementing our attacks on energy systems,” Matviychuk said.

According to the expert, strikes by the Russian Armed Forces make it possible to demilitarize Ukraine, as well as protect civilians from terrorist attacks.

“By the way, today a depot with railway locomotives was set up in Brovary. This is all a plus for our army, it allows us to demilitarize Ukraine and reduce our losses at the front. And, of course, to provide our residents with a peaceful life and protection from terrorism,” added Matviychuk.

In addition to Kyiv, during the night operation, Russian troops attacked Odessa and the region, where port infrastructure and military cargo storage facilities were targeted.
