Floor Leader Jeong told Deputy Prime Minister Koo that he also emphasized this content at the press conference on the 12th, and selected real estate, taxation, and labor issues as subjects that require policy changes in line with the actual situation on the ground.

Floor Leader Jeong said, "The Deputy Prime Minister is the best economic policy expert, and I think all citizens are grateful to him for using his experience to set policy directions when our economy was in difficult times. However, the economic reality is not easy. There are even voices in the field of people's livelihood saying that it is more difficult than the IMF period."

He continued, "In this difficult reality, the role of the Deputy Prime Minister must exercise greater power. When it comes to issues related to the livelihood of the people, there is no separate ruling party, opposition party, or government. If it is for the welfare of the people, we are willing to actively cooperate, whether it be a bill or policy."

In response to this request, Deputy Prime Minister Koo responded, "When it comes to the economy, there is no separate party between the ruling and opposition parties, and I tell you that I will only look at the people and do my best." He added, "I will actively explain the bills related to people's livelihood and strive to pass them as soon as possible."

He also said, "The economy is improving in many ways, but some people are experiencing difficulties. We will do our best to alleviate the difficulties of small business owners and others. Furthermore, we will do our best to bring together the latest economic capabilities beyond semiconductors to upgrade the economy to the next level."

He added, “If you call me every day, I will come every day to communicate and explain things to you, and I will do my best to create a Korean economy that is envied and feared by the world.”

It is reported that Floor Leader Chung and Deputy Prime Minister Koo reached a consensus in a private meeting that followed to cooperate to revive the local economy.
