Within about an hour and a half, all tickets for the final batch were sold. Although the exact figures were not disclosed, many spectators predict the concert will attract around tens of thousands of people per night, roughly equal to or exceeding Blackpink's two shows at the same venue in 2023. Mỹ Đình Stadium has a capacity of about 40,000 spectators. Previously, tickets were distributed to holders of membership packages issued by YG Entertainment—Big Bang's management agency—and VIP guests of the organizing partner.
On Big Bang fan groups, many audience members reported having to wait in online queues in the tens of thousands due to surging traffic. In the first sale for members, each account was only allowed to log in on one device. This time, fans maximized their chances by using multiple emails and accessing from several computers and phones simultaneously.
The Big Bang concert features 10 ticket tiers: Ultimate VIP Package - 10.5 million VND; Diamond VIP Package - 9.8 million VND; Gold VIP Package - 8.5 million VND; Premium Seating - 7.5 million VND; Standing Zone - 4.5 million VND; CAT 1 - 6.5 million VND; CAT 2 - 5.5 million VND; CAT 3 - 3.5 million VND; CAT 4 - 2 million VND; and CAT 5 - 1 million VND.
Hồng Anh, 34, from Hanoi, managed to secure a spot for the second day during the August 14 sale and continued looking for tickets for the first day. She was 18th in the queue, but by the time her turn came, her desired ticket tier was sold out. Hoài Phương, 29, from Ho Chi Minh City, found himself in a similar situation. He enlisted friends and relatives to log in simultaneously to increase his chances of buying tickets, but still missed out.
Many fans have shifted to searching for tickets from audience members who successfully purchased them in previous rounds. On Facebook, a group specializing in Big Bang concert ticket exchanges now attracts over 70,000 members, with a continuous stream of resale posts being updated. According to a survey by VnExpress, round-trip airfares from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi during the concert period are about 1 to 2 million VND higher than usual, amid a fourfold increase in search demand for Hanoi travel.
Hanoi is one of Big Bang's stops, alongside several other Southeast Asian countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore. The news was immediately welcomed by Vietnamese fans. Last year, the group's leader, G-Dragon, held two shows in Hưng Yên, attracting nearly 100,000 spectators.
Big Bang originally debuted in 2006 with five members: Seungri, G-Dragon, Taeyang, T.O.P, and Daesung. They all possessed strong vocal abilities, good coordination, songwriting skills, and smooth choreography, pursuing hip-hop and R&B. The group frequently received "Artist of the Year," "Song of the Year," and "Album of the Year" awards at major Asian music ceremonies. By early 2010, their success extended to the US market.
