Cristina Ranzolin celebrates 30 years at Jornal do Almoço with a special program

Presenter Cristina Ranzolin was surprised, this Wednesday (8), with a special program celebrating her 30 years as head of Jornal do Almoço, on RBS TV. The edition was attended by an audience made up of family, friends and fans.

During the broadcast, the journalist wore the same clothes as her debut anchoring the news program, in 1996. She followed and was moved by testimonials from colleagues and tributes that recalled her career at the broadcaster.

Journalist Elói Zorzetto handed the presenter a bouquet of flowers and a plaque in the name of Grupo RBS employees.

"I'm delighted with everything you did. Seeing these images, I was thinking about how many scenarios, colleagues, bosses, commentators... So many dear people who have been here in these three decades. I'm very moved," said Cristina.

The program's audience brought together former Jornal do Almoço presenter Maria do Carmo, who anchored the news program for 18 years, as well as members of the Rio Grande do Sul Breast Institute (Imama).

The publisher and president of the RBS Group Management Board, Nelson Sirotsky, highlighted the journalist's legacy.

"Living with the people of Rio Grande do Sul every day for 30 years, Cristina Ranzolin has become the grande dame of communication in Rio Grande do Sul. An extraordinary professional, she has a unique relationship with her audience," she stated.

Graduated in Advertising (1986) and Journalism (1987) from PUCRS, Cristina debuted as a reporter at RBS TV in 1988. At the station, she presented the programs Campo & Lavoura, Bom Dia Rio Grande and Rede Regional de Notícias.

In 1993, she was invited to anchor Globo's Jornal Hoje. Three years later, he returned to RBS TV to lead the new format of Jornal do Almoço.

Next year, Cristina's trajectory will be the official plot of the samba school Academia de Samba Praiana, in Porto Alegre.
