Ranveer Singh starrer 'Dhurandhar 2' benefited from the weekend surge, despite competition from Akshay Kumar's 'Bhooth Bangla' and Hollywood release 'Michael' (biopic). The movie tried to maintain the same pace on Monday as well; however, the movie saw a major drop on its 40th day at the box office. It missed the Rs 1780 crore mark worldwide, with earnings down around 69 per cent from its Sunday earnings.

'Dhurandhar 2' box office collection India day 40
According to Sacnilk, the Aditya Dhar-directed 'Dhurandhar 2' earned Rs 1.05 crore on day 40, its 6th Monday across 2,808 shows. This number came after the movie minted Rs 3 crore and Rs 3.40 crore on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. The tally has now been pushed to Rs 1,131.64 crore net and Rs 1,354.52 crore gross in India. The collections in the overseas market on day 40 stood at Rs 0.25 crore, as compared to the earnings of Rs 0.50 crore on Sunday. Now, 40 days after its release, 'Dhurandhar 2' has earned Rs 424.50 crore overseas. This brings the gross worldwide collection to Rs 1779.02 crore.

The Akshay Kumar starrer horror-comedy, 'Bhooth Bangla' again minted in single digits post the weekend surge. The earnings came down to Rs 3.65 crores on its day 11. Yet, it is the one that took the lead at the box office. The collection of 'Michael' stood at Rs 2.25 crore on Monday.
