Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge Nears Global Box Office Milestone on Day 42

The Aditya Dhar directed and Ranveer Singh-starrer espionage thriller, 'Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge', has entered Day 42 since its theatrical release on March 19, 2026. Currently standing as the third highest-grossing Indian film of all time, the sequel is locked in a high-stakes twin record chase: it is eyeing the global crown of Baahubali 2 and the domestic throne of Pushpa 2.

'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' (2017) holds a worldwide gross of Rs. 1,788.06 crore. With Dhurandhar 2 at Rs. 1,780.82 crore, the gap is now just Rs. 7.24 crore. At the current daily pace of Rs. 1–1.5 crore, the record could fall today or tomorrow. Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' holds the all-time domestic net record at Rs. 1,234.1 crore. With 'Dhurandhar 2' at Rs. 1,133.05 crore India net, the gap stands at approximately Rs. 101 crore.

By the end of Week 1, 'Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge' had collected Rs. 674.17 crore. The momentum continued in Week 2, adding Rs. 263.65 crore. By Week 3, it became the first Hindi film to join the Rs. 1,000 crore net club in India. On Day 41, the film witnessed a 28.6% growth, netting Rs. 1.35 crore across 2,925 shows. This brings the total domestic net to Rs. 1,132.99 crore and worldwide gross to Rs. 1,780.82 crore.

As of Day 42, the film has pulled in a live net collection of Rs. 0.23 crore so far. The film, which runs for 229 minutes, stars Ranveer Singh as Jaskirat Singh Rangi. It features a supporting cast including Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R. Madhavan. Despite legal challenges regarding copyright for the song 'Oye Oye' and a suit alleging similarities to the 1989 film 'Tridev', the Delhi High Court declined an injunction, allowing the film's theatrical run to continue.
