郭貽熹說，1941年5月，郭禮伯回到江西省南康老家休息3個月，章亞若也向蔣經國請假前往南康，到了1941年7月份，章亞若向郭禮伯說己懷孕，而且「就是你的」，郭禮伯想了想告知章亞若「孩子姓蔣比姓郭好」。章亞後來生下章孝嚴、章孝慈雙胞胎，章孝嚴於2005年改為蔣姓，兒子「章萬安」也跟著變成「蔣萬安」。郭貽熹說，如果蔣萬安願意來驗DNA，是很正面的事情，對台灣的老百姓也是好事，他不會反對。
