Su Qiaohui visited Xinzhuang Dizang Temple to pray and talked about culture and development vision

The Democratic Progressive Party's New Taipei City mayoral candidate and legislator Su Qiaohui and the Kuomintang's New Taipei mayoral candidate Li Sichuan both went to the Ksitigarbha Temple in Xinzhuang to participate in the three Christmas offerings ceremony of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. Su Qiaohui said that every year in the seventh lunar month, she is in New Taipei. All districts and citizens pray for good weather and prosperity for the country and people. This year, she also went to Xinzhuang to pay homage to everyone. She also hopes that in the future, more people will have the opportunity to see Xinzhuang's long history and temple culture, and jointly protect New Taipei's precious cultural assets.

Su Qiaohui said that Xinzhuang developed early and had the reputation of "one mansion, two deer and three new villages" in the past. Therefore, it has a very rich belief and cultural heritage, including Dizang Temple, Ciyou Palace, Sanshan Wang Temple, Wusheng Temple, Baoyuan Palace, etc., which are all temples in Xinzhuang that are more than a century old. She thanked Xinzhuang Dizang Temple for its long-term investment in public welfare. It not only continued to provide scholarships and bursaries to schools at all levels in Xinzhuang, but also provided materials and emergency assistance to economically disadvantaged families. It also often poured resources into local police and fire agencies and worked together for local development.

She pointed out that Xinzhuang also has the national-level "National Film and Audiovisual Culture Center", which not only meets local needs and provides 830 parking spaces for cars and motorcycles, but also has the opportunity to develop into the "Three Gold Museum" that gathers "Golden Songs, Golden Horses, and Golden Bells", making Xinzhuang an important place in Taiwan. It is an important film, television and audio industry cluster. In the future, she hopes to connect Temple Street, Sports Park, China-Hong Kong Pavilion and Honghui Plaza to develop a "tourist cross corridor", with temple culture as the core, combined with local stores, to develop special activities that sell local culture and promote regional development.

Su mentioned that in the past 10 years or so, she and Wu Bingrui have continued to strive for central resources to build Xinzhuang, including a forward-looking construction design subsidy of more than 300 million yuan for the "Xinzhuang Sports Park Underground Parking Lot", providing 636 car parking spaces and 140 motorcycle parking spaces; opening up the access road outside the embankment on the left bank of Dahan River, connecting Xinzhuang, Shulin, and Yingge's embankment roads, allowing Sanchong It only takes 30 minutes to get to Yingge; and in January this year, it was officially finalized that the construction of the "Xinzhuang Second South Exit Ramp" of Provincial Line 65 will be fully subsidized by the central government with a construction fund of 980 million yuan. It will improve the commuting environment for more than 400,000 people in Nanxinzhuang and Shulin areas. In the future, she will also fully promote the "Xinzhuang Second National Sports Center" and actively strive for central government funding subsidies.
