Ekrem İmamoğlu criticized the arrest of Amine Cansu Çelik

Arrested presidential candidate and elected IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlu reacted to the arrest of CHP Council Member Amine Cansu Çelik, days before the Üsküdar Mayoral Elections, on his social media account.

İmamoğlu wrote:

"Did you imprison Amine Cansu Çelik because she showed the conscience, virtue, honesty and bravery that befit a Turkish woman?

You stole the freedom of your 3-year-old baby for one vote, without even thinking about it!

What kind of cruelty is this? Who are you? When did you come into existence?

Against this nation's will, wisdom, chastity, belief in democracy and freedom, and its future; For what reason did you dare to commit such cruelty and betrayal?

Who are you? One feels a little shameful. We understand that you are not ashamed of the nation. Are you no longer afraid of God?

You put Sinem Dedetaş in prison. You poured gasoline and burned the girls' dreams of "I will be the mayor".

For what? Erdoğan wanted Üsküdar... He couldn't bring himself to lose Üsküdar. Is Üsküdar your registered property?
