Eurobodalla man pleads guilty to dozens of charges including child abuse material

A man who was facing 116 charges has pleaded guilty to 87 of them, including using a child under 14 to make child abuse material.

The Eurobodalla man also pleaded not guilty to three charges, including sexual intercourse with a child under 10.

The man will return to court in October.

A man from the NSW far south coast has pleaded guilty to more than 80 charges relating to recording intimate images without consent and creating child abuse material.

The Eurobodalla man was facing 116 charges.

Today in the Batemans Bay Local Court, guilty pleas were entered for 83 charges of intentionally recording an intimate image without consent.

The man also pleaded guilty to four charges of using a child under 14 years to make child abuse material.

A further 20 charges were listed as a Form 1 offence, meaning that while no formal guilty plea was entered, the charges can be considered during sentencing.

The man also pleaded not guilty to three charges.

These were sexual intercourse with a child under 10, aggravated sexual touching of another person, and indecent assault of a person under 16.

Six charges were withdrawn.

The alleged offending is said to have occurred over several years.

The man has been in custody since late 2025 and the matter has now come before the court 21 times.

Today he appeared before Batemans Bay Local Court via audio-visual link from Shortland Correctional Centre in Cessnock.

Judge Doug Dick acknowledged the time it had taken the court to get to this point, telling the accused it had "taken a long time to get here, but at last it's moving on".

The man was refused bail to await sentencing and a trial.
