Milo Yiannopoulos deported to UK after arrest in New Orleans

Far-right polemicist Milo Yiannopoulos, a champion of white nationalism in the United States who praised the action of the immigration police (ICE), was deported to the United Kingdom, his country of origin, the American government announced on Saturday. After being apprehended Thursday at Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans, Louisiana, he was deported the next day by American immigration police (ICE), the Department of Homeland Security said in a statement sent to AFP.

Having entered the United States legally on May 14, 2019, Milo Yiannopoulos had overstayed his authorized stay and was issued a final deportation order on July 22, for failing to appear at a hearing on his status, according to the department.
