Famous American journalist and feminist Gloria Steinem has died

Renowned American journalist and women's rights activist Gloria Steinem has died at 92. This was announced by her charitable foundation Gloria’s Foundation, created to support the feminist movement, on the social network Instagram (owned by Meta, a recognized extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation).

It is noted that Steinem died on September 2 at her home in New York, surrounded by loved ones. No other details are provided.

“The almost hundred years she lived on earth were lived with dignity. (...) Gloria's greatest gift was her ability to listen to others, to make them feel seen and heard. Her words, actions and example allowed people to be themselves,” wrote representatives of the foundation. They added that the journalist was distinguished by her independent spirit and had a wonderful sense of humor.
