Finnish politician Armando Mema called on Europe to restore relations with Russia

MOSCOW, September 12 – RIA Novosti. Armando Mema, a member of the Finnish Freedom Alliance party, called on Europe to restore relations with Russia before the global energy crisis hits it even harder.

The politician also recalled that at the BRICS summit, Russia proposed stabilizing global food and energy supplies, while Europe continues to oppose building a more cooperative world.

“Negotiations are also underway in the “coalition of the willing” to send European soldiers to Ukraine. The prospect of a large-scale conflict remains a very real scenario. The EU is trying to wage war against Russia on all fronts, but this is hitting the European economy at all levels. Europe is making one wrong decision after another, preparing the ground for a large-scale conflict,” Mema added.

In his opinion, the right way for the EU would be to stop acting like it has the moral high ground, return frozen assets to Russia and stop the militarization of Ukraine.

Previously, the EU agreed on a loan to Kyiv in the amount of 90 billion euros for 2026-2027, of which about 60 billion are intended for military needs.
