Fredrik Kjos tops the Moderates' list in Upplands-Bro despite his resignation

The political scientist: Puts voters in a precarious position

Fredrik Kjos has been conspicuous by his absence during the Moderate party's election campaign. On posters and social media it is instead Annika Friberg who appears.

Göran Sundström, professor of political science at Stockholm University, is critical of the ambiguities.

- This puts the voters in a very uncertain situation because they don't know if he will run or not. If he does not intend to run, he must withdraw his candidacy and there are formal opportunities to do so right up until September 10th.

- There is a democratic aspect in that the moderate voters do not know who they are voting for. I think this is very strange.
