Lap 14: Verstappen in the lead, then Russell and Antonelli, Hamilton fifth
The Monza Formula 1 Grand Prix has restarted, with a second start from the grid after two reconnaissance laps. The race was suspended for about 30 minutes due to Charles Leclerc's accident at the Parabolica with the Ferrari.
The FI Grand Prix of Monza was stopped after the accident in which Charles Leclerc was the protagonist. The Ferrari driver is taken to the medical center for checks. According to initial estimates, the Monegasque hit the barriers at the Parabolica at around 200 km/h. Meanwhile all the other drivers are in the pits with their cars. On the track, the protective barriers at the point of impact are being adjusted
Accident for Charles Leclerc on the third lap of the Formula 1 Grand Prix. The Ferrari driver went straight into a bend, crashing into the protective barriers, but emerged from the cockpit unharmed. The pilot retired. The Monegasque got out of the car on his own two feet, even though he appeared very shaken. The race judges displayed the red flag and temporarily suspended the Italian GP. The Monegasque, third on the grid, had "touched" Lewis Hamilton's other Ferrari at the start, who lost several positions and had complained about his colleague in the radio team.
