Hamas Military Commander Mohammed Odeh Killed in Israeli Airstrike in Gaza

The Israeli military has claimed the killing of Hamas’ newly appointed military commander, Mohammed Odeh, in a Gaza airstrike. This comes amidst a ceasefire brokered by the US in October 2025, yet targeted IDF attacks continue. Odeh was blamed for the October 7, 2023, incursion into Israel, resulting in over 1,200 deaths and 250 hostages. His predecessor, Izz al-Din al-Haddad, was killed 11 days prior.
