Hashmatullah Shahidi moves to his left at mid on and is late to get the dive in. The ball sneaks under his body and rolls behind. Shahidi did get a bit of hand on it, which slowed down the ball. It is cut off by Mohammad Nabi from mid off. Two runs taken.

The debutant, Ziaur Rahman to operate from the other end. Also, the physio is back out to apply a bit of magic spray on Rohit's wrist. After a while, Rohit is finally good to go again.

Uh, oh! Rohit Sharma seems to be in a lot of pain here. The ball misses the padding on the gloves and hits him on the right wrist and the physio is out to have a look. Rohit gets some icing on that injured area and thankfully, he is good to continue.

Azmatullah Omarzai to Rohit Sharma, FIVE WIDES! Wayward start from Azmatullah Omarzai. That swung away a long way but it started well wide on off and kept curving away in the air. The keeper, Rahmanullah Gurbaz dives to his right and gets a hand on it. The ball goes through the legs of Sediqullah Atal at slip and races down to the fence.

We are back for the run chase! The umpires are back out in the middle and the Afghan players can be seen forming a huddle before taking their places on the field. Looking ahead - India will be pleased with the effort they put in with the ball and will back themselves to chase this target down. Rahmanullah Gurbaz did make batting look relatively easy at times with the way he swung through the line, but taking pace off and bowling into the pitch proved effective, while the spinners also found a bit of turn. However, Graeme Swann informs on air that there is a bit of dew around and feels the ball should come onto the bat nicely under lights. It should be an interesting chase. A quick chat with the centurion - Rahmanullah Gurbaz says that he is grateful to have performed well, and his approach was the same, which was to play positive cricket. He adds that he puts in the hard work and gets the result for it, and feels that a century against India in India is a big deal. He also mentions that he had a chat with Gautam Gambhir after the Test match, which helped him. Ends by saying that there is something in it for the spinners, and if they bowl well, they can get the win.

Promise turned to disappointment - Having played second fiddle in the 116-run partnership with Gurbaz, Hashmatullah Shahidi needed to kick on and make his start count, but he was unable to do so. From there, India chipped away at the wickets. For the hosts, the two debutants, Gurnoor Brar and Harsh Dubey, picked up three wickets apiece, while Prasidh Krishna, after taking a bit of punishment early on, fought back strongly later in the innings. Arshdeep Singh was a bit unlucky, with India opting against a review when he had Gurbaz trapped in front early in the innings.

Gurbaz took centre stage - Despite the amount of rain around and the fact that the pitch spent a long time under covers, there was not a great deal of movement on offer with the new ball. Afghanistan, in their bid to make the most of the first Powerplay, lost three wickets, but that did little to deter Rahmanullah Gurbaz. Having been handed a reprieve on 14 when India chose not to review an LBW appeal, he made the most of that let-off. He blazed his way to a 48-ball ton, the fastest for Afghanistan in ODI cricket.

Afghanistan bowled out for 194 - The Afghanistan innings rather fizzled out after the dismissal of Rahmanullah Gurbaz. In the 56 balls that followed his dismissal, the tourists lost 6 for 52 and have been kept under 200. India started well and finished strongly too, but to be fair, they looked a little short of answers when Gurbaz was in full flow.

Gurnoor Brar goes short and at the batter, banging it into the deck. Ziaur Rahman goes deep in the crease and pulls it flat and hard towards wide long on. Arshdeep Singh moves to his right and brings out the reverse cup to take a fine catch as Afghanistan get bowled out with one ball to go and both debutants for India finish with 3 wickets apiece.

Rashid Khan stays leg side of the ball, gets a bit low and looks to swing it leg side but the ball skids on and beats him for pace. The ball eventually goes on to knock the leg pole out of the ground.

However, replays suggest that Rahul's foot was in contact with the boundary rope when the ball was still in contact with his hands, and Ziaur Rahman is off the mark in ODI cricket with a boundary.
