Indian-origin CEO Nitish Kannan says he has zero sympathy for those who cry about H-1B for not getting jobs.

Indian-origin Nitish Kannan, the CEO and founder of Circle Plus Pay, slammed the rampant H-1B shaming and said H-1B visa holders only get 65,000 jobs a year, as against 150 million jobs in the US. He said he has zero sympathy for the whites complaining about H-1B and whoever asked him to leave the US in the comment section of his viral post, Kannan informed them that he is an American -- he was born in the US. "I have zero percent empathy for any whites complaining about H1B literally zero. It’s pathetic victim mentality there’s 1 million jobs opening tech and you’re telling me you can’t find or fulfill them. You’re telling me you can’t start a company all I’m hearing is victim mentality I’ve seen the same s*it first of all," he wrote. "I’m a US citizen and I grew up here. I saw the same incompetence in school when I worked hard. All of you guys just sat there and some of you guys worked hard and some of you guys were just incompetent lazy. It’s like saying an Indian gets better grades in school and that’s why you couldn’t get better grades who was stopping you from getting better grades," he added. Kannan said immigrants always have it harder in the US as most of the jobs are for citizens and Green Card holders. As he was immediately branded as 'anti-American' who should be deported, Kannan sarcastically said that he had been trying to self-deport and collect the gift card from the government. "...but they said it’s illegal because I’m a US citizen with government clearance," he clapped back at his trolls. "I’m American. I love it. All my business and homes are her. Everything is great here don’t wanna live anywhere else. I could go anywhere I want in the world. I travel a lot. Love Europe, Australia, Dubai etc have homes all over the world, India, Dubai, and LA Florida," Kannan added as social media users asked him to renounce his citizenship and travel back to India.

Why is the H-1 B issue in the news again?

Before Donald Trump's inauguration, Vivek Ramaswamy stirred a massive H-1B row after he criticized American culture for not prioritizing academics more and therefore depending on H-1B from China and India. Ever since, H-1B has remained one of the most contentious issues of the second Trump administration. Now the focus is back on the visa program again, as in August, the administration released back-to-back proposals that would make legal immigration difficult. Vice President JD Vance said Americans should be trained for jobs and then hired while Silicon Valley stalwarts said skill should be the only priority and not nationality.
